Who we are

NetSolutions Ghana Limited was founded in Ghana in 2004, as an Information Technology Services Company, and is an IBM PREMIER Business Partner, ORACLE GOLD Partner and VMware Enterprise Solutions Provider. Its mission is to provide services in the domain of systems, networking, storage hardware and software. Our goal is to provide training, consulting, systems solution design and integration including implementation, administration and support.

We would best describe ourselves as AIX/iOS implementers and System Administrators, Oracle RDBMS Architects, Integrators, Designers, Troubleshooters and Support Engineers who have also done a great deal of IA(Information Assurance), Project Management, Technical Documentation, Linux Coordination, Scheduling, Client Interface, and other related areas.

We have worked as Practice Leads, Consultants and Project Managers for IBM, Oracle and its Business Partners in Ghana and beyond. We have through these IBM and Oracle Partners installed and Configured IBM xSeries, IBM pSeries, IBM System I, IBM POWER and Oracle Servers in several institutions.

We have installed, configured and supported IBM High Availability Clusters (PowerHA), IBM General Parallel Filesystem (GPFS) Clusters, Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC), IBM Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM), IBM Tivoli Productivity Center (TPC), IBM SmartCloud Application Performance Manager (SCAPM) and VMware Virtual Desktop (vHorizon) and Server virtualization using VMware vSphere for several organizations within Ghana and in several other African countries.

We provide consulting services directly to anyone who operates an IT environment. Whether the job is large or small, we offer support on demand in a timely and efficient manner either remotely or onsite.

Our Key People

Dr. Rashard graduated with an MSc in Computer Engineering from Ciudad Universitaria Jose Antonio Echeverria in Cuba (1988) before proceeding to Akita University in Japan for a PhD in Computer Systems Engineering (1992). He has since 1994 been very active in various areas in communications and information technology, and has professional certifications in the following fields:

Mr. Osei graduated from Harvard University in Engineering Science and Chemistry in 1966. He has been involved in IT since 1967 including 8 years with IBM. Mr. Osei has also been involved with Academia and Banking. He joined NetSolutions Ghana Ltd in 2011 and overlooks the Marketing Department.

Mr Oluwunmi graduated with an MSc from the University of Lagos, and proceeded to the City University, London to acquire an MSc in Information Systems and Technology. Prior to joining NetSolutions, Mr Oluwunmi had acquired over 15 years of experience working in Oracle Plc, United Kingdom implementing and supporting Oracle RDBMS and Applications products.

Mr Essien graduated with a B.Eng in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Benin in 1985. After a three-year stint as a broadcast engineer, Mr. Essien in 1989 joined an ICT company as a trainee systems engineer dealing with operating system support and networking. Since those early MS-DOS and Netware days, Mr. Essien has worked extensively with IBM's AIX, Oracle's Solaris and HP's HP-UX, and various system management solutions, and is certified in the following areas
